I am sharing and writing about two of my hobbies. Reading and creativity.

I try to write reviews about books I read. My favorite genre is fantasy. What I like most about it is that it makes me wander off to lives and lands that are so different from ours that it makes it easy for me to step into a totally different microcosm.
While being in Indiana, USA as an exchange student in 1997/98 I had this great English teacher, Mrs. Hudson, who liked to say "You have to step into the microcosm of the story". She is right. Some things might not make sense, just take them as given and enjoy the story.
Once in a while there are books that are not fantasy but that I like to read anyway. I had a phase where I liked to read stories where the setting was in Ireland. And of course I like to read love stories. Once in a while I like to read historic stories or tragic fates of families or women.

I like creating things. And I would like to lower my waste volume. Sustainability is something that I want to incoorparte into my life. It's a process to get rid of the bad habits and learned behavior. I believe that we only have this one planet and that it is worth caring for it.
​
I am trying a lot of do-it-yourself things these days. I made lotion and soap myself and I like to use essential oils (good quality/ therpeutic grade) to upgrade my DIYs like cleaning detergent, mouthwash, lotions etc.

Since German is my native language this website is in German. But feel free to roam around and if you find something that you are interested in and would like to have translated or English directions for just let me know!
